Bowland is a foreign planet. It is where Olive was beamed down to in 2042 and was turned back into an infant and placed in 1898. Raised by the Connors family, "Olibow" found her darling Sander in 1942. They were there for 9 months, but abandoned their daughter to continue being in the BSSSD on Earth. Their daughter, Sadibow, was raised by her grandparents, and became a refugee on Bowland. Her last act was launching her daughter Crossbow, 5 close relatives (including sister Skybow) and 5 good friends, to Earth in 1992. Crossbow was raised a human but never fit in until discovering her origins in 2017 and heading off to found a city patterned after Bowland civilization. The planet was destroyed by warlords from the planet Baaaaaah. The planet is both similar to Krypton, Superman’s birthplace, as well as Zambezi, the hometown of Amaya Jiwe from the Arrowverse.

Olive hijacked the Waverider in order to prevent the deaths of Skybow and Crossbow. She convinced Sadibow to wield the Ultra-Bionic Human Arcturion, which scared away the awful warlords. With the defeats of Grodd and Mallus, Bowland survived, with an arcturion-sharing Skybow and Crossbow protecting it successfully, along with Sadibow. Olive and Sander, tragically, both were killed by Grodd in 1992, after traveling back to 1942 to live out the rest of their lives.
